Heroes and heroines are people who do things for others beyond expectations. They enrich our lives, improve our communities and inspire us. Heroes and heroines are people who do things for others beyond expectations. They enrich our lives, improve our communities and inspire us.

In Green Bay, Wis., 11-year-old Anthony Leanna spends 20 hours per week separating, bagging and shipping more than 8,000 brand new hats to chemotherapy patients in 60 hospitals and clinics around the country. Anthony was a 2003 Jefferson Award for Public Service winner.
