Earlier this month, President Bush took his hat off to Leanna by presenting him a President's Student Service Award, in honor of Heavenly Hats(TM), the charity that Leanna created to donate hats to people who have lost their hair because of medical treatments." The youngest of the do-gooders, Anthony Leanna 12, has collected and shipped more than 8,000 hats to cancer patients who have lost their hair after medical treatments. "I just wanted to put a smile on their faces while they're going through a tough time," the Green Bay, Wis., native said. "It puts a smile on my face too." The Washington Times-June 21, 2003

ABC SPECIAL: "Volunteers Across America"

Anthony will appear in a special to be broadcast by ABC entitled "Volunteers Across America." Anthony and Heavenly Hats(TM) will be profiled in this special along with other volunteers from around the United States. The program will air sometime after the 15th of December, 2006 please check your local listings or check with your local ABC affiliate to see when they will be airing the special in your area. For those of you who live in Northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan the ABC special will air on Saturday February 3rd, 2007 at 12:30 pm on ABC WBAY. The special will be hosted by Chris Cuomo an anchor with Good Morning America. A very heartfelt thank you goes out to ABC and producer Patrick Davidson and Chris Cuomo for everything that they have done to make this special a reality.
