Seventeen year-old Anthony D. Leanna started the Heavenly Hats Foundation(TM) in 2001 when he was just 10 years old.

"My program was started to provide brand-new hats for cancer patients and other medical patients who lose their hair due to a disease or the treatment of a disease. Heavenly Hats(TM) wants to be able to provide hats to individuals and hospitals in order to help the patients feel better about themselves and to give them the extra courage and hope to win their fight. Hair loss during the battle of a disease can be uncomfortable, depressing and at times even a little humiliating. The hat is just a small symbol of hope and love, but my wish is that it will have the power to brighten the patients day so that they can look to the future with a smile." Anthony

(To date over 500,000 new hats have been donated free of charge to medical patients in need).

ITEMS THAT HEAVENLY HATS COULD CURRENTLY USE

1. Monetary Donations To Help Cover The Costs That Are Involved With Shipping The Hats To The Patients and Hospitals.

2. Lightweight cotton spring hats, turbins, scarves or sleep hats for women.

3. Spring hats for young boys between the ages of 3 and 10.

4. Any children's hats

Click here to request a "Hat Package" for a medical patient in need. (Please be sure to include the patients name, address, gender and approximate age in the comments section of the form so that we may send appropriate headwear for that individual).

**Hat packages may take up to three weeks to process due to the amount of requests that we receive on a daily basis. Our volunteers do their best to keep up with orders on a timely basis. Heavenly Hats(TM) has no paid employees so all hats are packaged by volunteers and we sometimes can get overwhelmed with orders which may delay delivery of packages slightly, please be patient and if you do not receive your "hat package" within 4 weeks please send us a note and we will be more than happy to check on the status of your order.

SOME PERSONAL INFORMATION

The only reason that I have included this information is so that everyone who visits this site can get a little better idea of what I am like and so that you can see that I am just your average teenager who just happens to feel that helping people in need is extremely important and encourage other youth to do the same. Heavenly Hats(TM) is my favorite thing to do because it makes me feel so great to help people in need, but I am also involved in many other activities. My favorite sport by far is football. I play defensive end, and tackle on the varsity team for the school that I attend which is Bay Port High School in the Howard-Suamico School District in Wisconsin. My favorite subjects in school are television production, photography, and science. I also lift weights competitively, play lacrosse and play guitar as a hobby which is a lot of fun. After I graduate from High School I plan to attend college and would eventually like to work in the media field as a producer or director or photography area and also continue to run Heavenly Hats(TM). I love to hunt and fish with my dad and grandpa. We fish on Lake Michigan out of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and catch a lot of salmon and lake trout. I hunt for deer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where my Uncle has a camp near Hermansville, Michigan. Other activities that I like are working out, working in my photo studio at home, hanging out with my friends, doing things with my family and of course playing with my Boxer Jazz and Golden Retriever Brandy. DeeAnn has been the Executive Director of the Heavenly Hats Foundation(TM) for the past 5 years. She currently lives in Suamico, Wisconsin with her husband Glen and has one son Anthony who is the founder of the Heavenly Hats Foundation(TM).

Wendy Vande Hei-Vice President

Wendy has been a Supervisor at Aspiro, Inc. a non-profit organization in Green Bay, Wisconsin for the past 21 years. She currently lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin with her husband Elmer. Wendy has two daughters Erica and Tarra a step-son Eric and one grandson Brayden.

Carol Stannard-Secretary

Carol is a Senior Account Manager at United Health Care in Wausau, Wisconsin and has been with this company for the past 20 years. Carol lives in Suamico, Wisconsin with her husband Bill and has one daughter Kelly.

Nicole Lambrecht-Treasurer

Nicole is the Administrator at Howard Immel, Inc. in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Nicole lives in Luxemburg, Wisconsin with her husband John and has two children Jacob, and Sami.

Anthony Leanna-Special Member

Anthony is a junior at Bay Port High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Anthony is the Founder of the Heavenly Hats Foundation(TM) and lives with his parents DeeAnn and Glen Leanna in Suamico, Wisconsin. Besides running Heavenly Hats Anthony enjoys playing football and guitar.
